Georgia Department of Correction - Staffing & Organization Study (1995):

Completed a major analysis of the Central Office and regional offices of the Georgia Department of Correction. CJI assessed the agency's structure, workload, and central and regional office staff assignment patterns, recommended options to improve its effectiveness and efficiency, and a report was prepared for the use of Department officials in reorganizing the Department’s roles and structure.

Philadelphia Prison System ­ Staffing Analysis and Staffing Plans (1995 - 1996):

A system-wide assessment of staffing needs and manpower usage was conducted in all existing prisons; and staffing plans were developed for all proposed facilities. Annual operating costs were estimated for each prison and for each shift within each prison.

Vermont Department of Corrections ­ Central Office Staffing Analysis (2000):

An assessment of the organizational structure, its relationship to field operations, and staffing levels within the central office was conducted. Recommendations for increasing effectiveness and improving efficiencies were made.

Maryland Division of Correction - Staffing & Operational Analysis (2001):

CJS collaborated with another consultant to conduct a staffing and operational analysis of the Maryland DOC central office on behalf of the National Institute of Corrections. In the process they developed recommendations for the creation of additional staff positions and the modification of existing functions within the Division.
